Doh, under-done again, but fab fun mucking around around sailing on the old Missy Flow.

Post more later - I am running behind time because Tubbyguts exacted his revenge by parking so close behind my trailer I needed a tin opener to get into the trailer, and the skills of Houdini to get out of the carpark. Cheeky bugger will enjoy a cold dish or two himself soon...

Liptons, gusty SW to WSW, when lots of west in wind instead of the ideal SSW for Liptons note to self and all other sailors, the run to ward point is the go, the wind doesnt get into liptons bay when too much west, a missed opportunity today, the wind was strong enough but too gusty without the gusts into Liptons Bay.  Mistral Speed 55/95 TRXI 5.9m  Pepefoil 21/48

JP speed 54, NP RSR E6 6.4, Pepeweed 23.

The natural order of things has returned with Hardz destroying my 5x.

Great sessionn with Strop Slugger and Hardz

Have to get out earlier as the wind tends to peak about 2 then fade after.

3rd day on the speed board, feeling the hurt.

Great session

An absolute ripper sail today, nice strong solid wind, felt like I was doing 40's Laughing Only short runs today and I didn't last too long, could only handle so much excitment before I was shagged. About half dozen others, good mob but no other gps's.

95L Gladiator, 32 Powermax, 5.8 Koncept, blue skies sunshine and boardies, life's great.

Carlisle St, Safety Bay, WA, AU   Pat SL92, Simmer Enduro 5.4, TWS25

Done my first 8hr day at work in months today and spent a large part of it on the end of a 9" grinder. Got to SB feeling pretty buggered and thought I would just go out for a quick one to get wet. Tomski was there treating his Mistral and fin like he was foiling with lots of tail walking going on. A few of the perth boys looked like they were struggling on the race gear so I decided to go with a freeride sail. After a few runs getting the outhaul and harness lines set right things were feeling dam comfy in the big chop and solid wind.  The longer I went I started to think of a location best hr and a gender change from queen of carlisle st to KING.  All hail queen Lunny. I took one run out across the sound which was great fun heading out but had several arse clenching moments on the way back with massive steep swells that I had to pick my way around. Stoked with the hour in such rough conditions and even more to be king of somewhere, its been a while. I some how dont think it will last for long though.

Those results are well within the accuracy of those antiquated units you guys wear, close enough to a draw.

just check the SDoP values and I bet you'll see I'm right.

Any way nice going both of you!

I had to clean the wagon out today, mamoth job, took most of the arvo.

Alby, if you'r looking at 3 readings, I think you're possibly robbing your self. I think Realspeed is the only one that does that now, Try GPSResults, that only uses 2 points not 3. Manfred has looked more closely at the way the GT31 arrives at the 1sec result, and I think he came to the conclusion that it's a 1s average not an instantaneous reading. Using that method certainlly agrees more with the more accurate 5hz units.

Fangman, did you try the Margot Robbie buttock lotion on the Missy Flow? There's got to be a couple of knots in that stuff.

Hey King Roger nice hr in the rough mate, especially after 8 grinding hours Cool

Slugger nice speeds after all mate, right up there with the Liptons elite, better wind direction and it would have been 40 for sure, bring on LG Smile

Fang you might have got better access to the trailer if you'd turned around 90 degrees Wink

Good King Swindy, Lord of the Teletubbies and the Master of his own Domain. You should be safe from a challenge, Lunny rocks a frock better than you. Tongue out

T2 - smoking speed there Sludge, did you put the boom on the other way round or something?

Elmo and Slim Jim Hardie - consistently fudging fast flying featherweights, nice fellas.

Floppybob - I didn't see your sail out in the middle today, tighten up that corset and you will be fine, look what it did for Swindy!

Basil - congrats on the distance PB, but remember, your time will come and you will feel the rapier wit of the Bargearse, (I never forgive, just forget)...Laughing
