64 Silver Bullet Windtech with 33cm CL speed weed fin. 7.0m Evo sail.

Awesome session. Just Neil Scheltema and I out. Where was everybody??

It started off too light and ended up too windy. It picked up quickly and the chop got hectic from the West in it. Wasn't quite feeling up to a hardcore Nm today and pulled up short when it started to blow.

And... I had a bad feeling about break-ins since JJ said about parking on the concrete platform. The whole sail had me thinking and sure enough they smashed my side window. I think I caught the guy in the act because he emerged looking guilty...aboriginal guy, girl in the car and kids on the beach...perfect ploy. Things got a bit heated when Dan said something to him and then they took off smoking tyres and fish tailing dangerously with kids in the back. No point in cops... it'll never end. So I won't be sailing from the container again.....

Nice little warm up session for tomorrows windy conditions hopefully. Mark Kenny and quite a few out. A bit choppy to get any good speed could have gone down to the 5.5 KAR would have been more efficient but was getting late and there is always tommorow.

Well that was a surprise session. Arrived to see Boz flying in some decent gusts on the chop so rigged the 6.4 and joined in the fun on the 61 Manta. I cant remember a session with such variation in gusts and direction. Enjoyed the company of Boz, Kenny and Andrew who continued into the fading light. Fun times.

Well that was better than I had expected. I headed down after work and thought that I would be in for about half an hour of sunset cruising so only took the 7.0 and 120 board. As I started rigging Boz came in for some oxygen and said that he was well powered on his small gear so I started having second thoughts and decided to shoot back home and get my 6.2 and small board. By the time I got back things were looking rather peacfull and some dodgy bloke from the Southsiders suggested I should rather rig a 7.8 as the wind was gone. Anyway the 6.2 was rigged and off I went after a couple of runs the wind had picked up and things were rather exciting. The gust certainly had some power but were rather short. Lots of fun.

Expected a light wind sail but ended up well lit on the 6.2. A few Pinnas out enjoying the 30 knot gusts. Darryl Page was on a 8.7 and said he could have done with a bit more wind!

Neil, sorry to see they've struck again - all the car parks should have CCTV cameras.

Had a great foil session at Dutchies - kicked in to 25+ knots. Pretty cooked with the 4.5 Smile

Love it when it goes onshore (SW), swell picks up quickly and it's easy to ride the waves heading out on port tack.

Only problem is that the weed builds with the swell.

That's a shame Neil. JJ makes a good point about CCTV. Happy to sign a petition. Nice speed and turn Nick. Smile

maybe tell the police so they may do some patrolling?

There were some breakins at Coodanup until we got the cops onto them - it helped that we had a number plate

About time City of Freo did something about that place. Dirt parking with some random sea container in the middle and that sealed car park is poorly maintained. Its zoned Parks and Rec so youd think they could make a grassed area with facilities and a decent car park for beach users. JJ, yes CCTV would be good.

It's a pain in the butt for sure. It happens so quickly that it's almost impossible to prevent. CCTV maybe as a deterrent but then they just cover up and do it anyway. Best thing is to be vigilent and avoid the known areas.

Even at Peli last summer I was sitting with Steve (WindForce) 15 metres from my van in daylight and the uckers took my binoculars and phone, so there is no solution it's just a fact of life, we have rejects on the planet who'll keep at it and keep passing on the genes.
