A nice croozy session at Fangy's. Not as strong as forecasted but still enough to get wet. Good to see the captain and Woody on the water and other mobbers (Ross and Pas) enjoying the last summer breezes, even if it was quite frontal.

I rigged bigger today for similar wind to what there has been at my last couple of visits, but I could not improve much on my speed, so the alphas were still sub 20. I did manage one in my top 3 though, and managed quite a few smooth planing gybes despite the small chop, so all was not lost.

Good to catch up with Tim, Mark, Fangy, Bono and Fin.

A pleasant cruise but probably not a top 10 fangy day.

Gusty sesh and not much power even in the gusts. Stil, beggers can't be choosers. I thought I saw someone that needed help but it was Boz floating down from Melville waiting for more wind. All in all atleast I went windsurfing Laughing Neil and JJ headed out once I was done. I think most were happy to have enought wind to plane.

Good to get a sail in despite conditions not delivering as expected. About 10-18 knots so used the Manta 66 and Vapor 7.1 and CL wp20. Should have used a nomal wp fin as it was choppier than normal. Enjoyed the session with Anita, Tim, Fangy & Fin. Cheers for the beers Tim. That last run was a fast one in knowing a cold one was waiting Laughing

Not a speed fest but a challenge for sure. Rigged in the middle ,7m and 64, with the hope of more wind coming. It didn't but a hoot nonetheless.

Johnson was on his foil for a change and Vin was coming in as I was heading out.

Spent more time having a nice swim than sailing, decided to hop off the board thinking it was shallow turned out to be a bit deeper than I expected and at the same time the wind decided to back right off, pleasant swim for about 20min in luke warm water, Vince poped over to have a chat while I was swiming and Pete Dans as well. Eventually enough wind to get back on the board was just a pleasant day to plod.

Drops KAR 7.1

Thanks Sue. I have three 18+ alpha sessions this year and all on my slowest board, so I have definitely improved. I managed an 18.9 yesterday but it was too wide (60m)

Just need a bit more wind so I can use a faster board.
