Only just planing with a 7m and 64 cm board. Should have gone big but thought it was going to kick in.

Had an upwind duel with Scotty McKercher up to Rous head, hard work. Sailed out to that huge off-shore tug , was going to go around it but thought about that huge wind shadow in 10 to 15 knots....

Just 3 of us out at Cott and 3 different sets of kit - Neil on a slalom board, Scott McKercher on a Windsurfer LT and me on the foil.

Pretty healthy for windsurfing, I reckon Smile

I had to stay close in and gybe often to help clear the weed.

Oh the weed.... I had to come in after 1 run and change to a Pepe carbon weed fin.

It's a very slippery fin that, I like it, trucks upwind too.

Retiring from windsurfing, well tried the foil which is like retiring😁 must agree different just doesn’t give me the adrenalin rush or buzz of belting through chop at speed. Don’t think I’m mellow enough for foiling maybe I’m not smoking the right stuff😁it probably explains JJ’s tracks and I thought it was the booze😁 thanks Andrew for giving me a go on the foil. Sorry Fangy but the wind shadow was with me at Melville.
