hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU 12-17South and 7-12 later Rigged the 7.3 and was hoping for a stronger wind than we got Still made the most of the light breeze until it turned into a floater. Smashed quite a few razors with the 'Rosco P Fangtrain' today Good sailing with Tricky
Tricky Bogan (21417km): Hoppy loured me down on the promise of a good wind, was calm as at home Decided any sail is a good day out so headded down to see hoppy cruzing back n forth, So the CA101 7m Loft RB & 22 Razor crusher got a work out. after a few runs decided that there was enought water to cross the spit. Well sorta but was committed so 30m of my hour was realy giving the Fangy a work out, I recon its more like a 21.5 now Shudda gone in when hoppy said instead I was up for a couple more runs that very quicky turned to grovel then wobble wobble floater only just made it back in the dieing wind. Finnished with a coldie Thanks Hoppy
Trousers (14352km): el Bog, ssw15-17kts. i97-machOne6.2-d0935cm (RIP!) First session after breaking collabone & ehoulderblade on 1st of Dec. Sume surgery, metalwork and 3months later, I'm back! Initially under rigged, then it kicked and I had some fun, right until I sheared the select s09 off at the base. Took the hint and packed up. Stoked to sail with my mates again, and chomping for some more. Hoping Autumn bucks the trend and gives us some sailable weather!
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU 12 to 17. Fun weekend overnight catch up with Sam, Leon and Casey. Usual fun and been a while so was alot of fun. Wind came in late Saturday but we starting rigging too smaller kit and was too dark to head out. Sunday looked light so much of the same as Saturday until late Sunday arvo - everyone headed out as the wind picked up. Great to see Trousers back on the water and unlucky with the select fin falling apart like so many others. Big turnout and everyone enjoyed the day. Had a ball on the big kit and really happy to get out been a long 4 weeks. Was choppy for the amount of wind but had some okay squirts through the chop. Sam was smoking on the new to him used Evo 5 7m - well done mate and great to catch up . Patrik 115 / 7.8m gun sails GSR / Black Project R40 fin.
