Yeah - finally on the board for March. Pretty good breeze after an up and down forecast. Good to catch up with a couple of Pinnas, Boz and Ben and a few other locals, enjoying what must be the last few seabreezes of this summer. Quite flat for Melville, with lots of dolphins hanging about and avoid (right Boz). Started on the big gear, before changing down a board size. Tried the 7.8m on the FF98 and can't say there's alot of love here. To much spin outs. A bigger fin might have been the go.

A good day to try out the new sail and boom. Heaps of yachts out made it very bumpy. Finished after an hour and the wind dropped soon after. You really have to time it right this time of year on the river.

Got the word from Woody the wind whisperer that company at liptons would be welcome.

What a great choice it was. Pretty cruisey at the start with just enough wind to deliver smiles on the 137 then it picked up

quite nicely for a solid sesh on the 112/64

Some great company out there. Great to meet Kato.

Loving the Windtech 64, she did well today.

Dodge em Dolphin was the name of the game today, aborted several runs to bypass the school of dolphins who where having heaps of fun schooling fish, fun sail today compared to the last couple times with not enough wind. Should have rigged the 6.3 as the Pryde 7.0 just didn't feel powerful enough wanted a heap more wind where as the 6.3 would have been in it's element. Water flat enough for better speeds had the fin flying but just not there with the sail.

Drops Pryde 7.0

Fun sesh on the big gear...M137 + 8.4 TR8 + 44 Vector Volt.

Pretty powered up when I first got on the water at 4:30, but I figured it would drop off (it did eventually) so I hung in there.

Had a crack at an hour, but despite being on the verge of over-powered for a good chunk of it I still managed to find a few big holes Undecided

Finished off with some fun drags with Mike and Chris, until the cramps got the better of me. Great sesh. Cool

What a great day. Dropped off Basil's new 57 (he's a Mobster) , had lunch with him, and then went to Liptons which is a new spot for me. Had the great pleasure of catching up with Joe Presti ( Hardie) who I last saw in about nineteen hundred and ninety seven. Met a few others and then had a great sail with Craig and Mark.... bloody fantastic.

Too short but very sweet sail. Think I got the best of the wind, could have gone with a smaller board and fin. Good to see Tim overpowered and Boz dodging the dolphins.

Started out patchy around 1:30 but made it to Pt Walter. A few decent gusts on the run back to Peli and then it filled in nicely. Fully powered on the 7.7 by the end. Solid numbers sailing at Peli and the competition is on for parking spots now that Uni has returned.

A delayed upload. Thanks Lunny for the loaning the cable. Tried the 81 Manta for the 3rd time with the 7.1 Vapor and a 25 wp fin which was a heap of fun.  Changed to the Manta 66 as the wind came in. Fun times with Craig, Neil and some local mobsters.

Neil... and a PB as well, and improved our scores in 5 out of 6 categories and boosted us ahead of the Mandurah Mob. Yes, it was a great day.

That's a very nice naughty for an ordinary day. I hope more of the Mandurah Mob buy your boards. It seems the only time we get you down to the fabled flatwater of the south.

Pointman, good work on the hour!

Woody, I am very keen for you to find that cable.

Not sure about wind strength Anita, maybe 20 ish , not powered up and could have had a 7m so yep 20 and a bit??

Yeah nice spot Greg, I reckon with a bit of wind you could get some good Nm's
