Late run down the coast to some very gusty SE winds with dangerous Dave, the Conductor and Reef

Got hobbled on my first run by Dave having been the last person on the Isonic, and with him having feet like a Yeti, the straps were miles out.

1st run with a new sail, so no harness line joy for the first bit, but then settled in looking to test the depth of the water. Turns out, very little weed and good depth so no need for the stress that was anticipated.

Good sail but looking forward to some consistent wind (too gusty)

Sorry to hear about Neil. I hope he is ok but never good news

A late (in the season & arvo) road trip to check it out in Augusta after many conflicting reparts. It still works.

We had a SE forecast but think that it was a SSE wind as it was an uphill battle to get back to the start area. Not impossible but frustrating.

In the end the Old Salty Boy called it right that I was under finned on the 25 when i thought that i grabbed the 29, It would have been a much different experience if I had the bigger fin. Heaps of water and no weed to speak of.

It was a super gusty experience and so much so that the on & off switch being flicked faster than we were able to sheet in or out. On a true SE, on the water, it will be same as before, great.

NB - 2sec taken from Canmore & dist adjusted for 2 logged sessions.
