Canadian Casey (2167km): Good sail today it was a different direction to what I have sailed before at Bog. Carl and I were the only ones there at the start and the wind hadn't kicked in. Rigged a 7.0 with the 112L waiting for wind to kick in then it kicked pretty hard and gusty. I stayed on the initial gear but was overpowered tried switchinh to the 94L board which was interesting with the 7.0 chop was pretty full on at that point. Was a good day sailing, good practising getting into the straps when overpowered.

Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 15 to 20 w / nw. Fun arvo sesh with Casey. Late start due to late forecast and the wind kicked in shorty after arrival. Decided on the mid size kit with the forecast. Big board and off we went. Very gusty and choppy but alot of fun cruising around. Any west in the wind and it is usually average but not a bad sesh. Wind picked up later so took out the 87 to finish the day. Patrik 115 / 87 / 7.1m gun sails gsr / Black Project R375 / Select 35cm sl7.. |
