Not much windsurfing for me today, went out with the 5.5 and a delta fin as it was so shallow, but got flung out the front door straight away and broke a battern. while I was rerigging the wind went nutso, and there was a lot of kite carnage in the launch area with one kite wrapped over a power line and another guy dragged up the beach as he tried to bring his kite down. Decided to wait for a bit after seeing all that then went out for a couple of runs. Very shallow towards windang which made it flatter but the 18cm was getting crunched so decided that it was time to withdraw. Great to see powersloshin who held my parking spot for me, and the guys who'd come for the foii/formula event, I cant imagine hanging onto a 10m sail when the 5m was giving me some grief
