Stansbury, SA, AU N NNW 20-43 knots

RS2, Evo 5 5.4, 24 choco weedy

What a day!, Arrived at 10.30 and it was hooting to 40 knots. The direction was North , which is no good when the spit is exposed. So i sat in the Rocket looking out the window waiting for it to go NW and back off to 20-30.  My buddy Chris  made me a cuppa on his coffee machine and i kept waiting until 2 hours later by which time the wind had shifted to NNW. I rigged quickly, wanting to get on the smooth before it vanished, downhauling the Evo even more than last time. Did a few bearaways on the short chop but it was scary and i had missed the flat by an hour. The sail felt great but i was happy to come in and save it for another day.

North Haven, SA, AU. Haven was completely flat today. No swell. It blew all day. Freak session !. I was on the big wave gear to test a new Loftsails Team Edition RDM mast, but I reckon hitting 30 knots today on the Patrik 92 and Cheetah wouldn't have been out of the question (my wave board is a slug :( ).

Trousers & Carl: 30min down the road. Almost a premium speed spot. No weed in the water today, but there was a big weed mountain to climb over to get to the water. Fairly big turn out. About 5 sailors out.
