7.5m Gt Turbo- Rs4 ( 111ltres) 43cm makani weedy
Started out nothing in front of Coal but nicely powered and a good angle between the point and Marks Pt. Some nice runs and worked my way upwind and then it kicked in..Scary run back downwind , back leg screaming and feeling like I would be flipped over the front..
Rerigged the RS2 ( 90ltre) - KA 6.6m Koncept ( could have used the 6.2m at first) 33 makani but by the time I had it ready it was over.. A bit peeved to have missed the best wind..
My friend Theo turned up. He used to sail a wally and he's now got a 125 Tabou rocket and new sail that I'm helping him get used to . It wasn't ideal - very patchy and too light for him to get going much but I got going in the gusts and it was nice to have company.
Anyway all TOW is helpful..
Lyds went past as I first went out. Jeff came up on the foil as I was rerigging. the stronger stuff would have been ' interesting' on a foil..
