Stansbury, SA, AU 5-10, 10-15 then 20-25 Northerly

Got there early and rigged the 6.6 in antisipation of stronger wind to come. Had to beat out on both tacks in light wind. No planing so in and change up to the 7.3 and a bigger fin. Got going in the 10-15 knots with this combo. Tricky, Chris and later Steve joined in the fun as the wind picked up to 20-25. I was not going to change down and put up with being monstered by the 7.3. Tricky was faster on Port, Starboard tacks he sailed well.  Couple of beers made for a great afternoonSmile

N/NNE 10-25kts el'Bog, Conditions gusty but quite smooth, long runs with no real chop. I changed gear a bit, but most the day on my Falcon 89l, with the Severne MachOne:6.2m.

Original run on the Falcon had the BP Race 32.5 but too much lift had me tailwalking in the gusts. Leon spotted the problem immediately and proscribed me his BP Speed 32.5 and then I was feeling good. Cheers bro!

Good turnout, including old mate Joe, who was whipping out casual duck gybes like a boss. Well played sir.

All considered: favourtie session in recent memory. Only misgiving was cams sticky on rotation, and I couldnt exit gybes without some sort of issue. Gonna remove all spacers.

YEEHAAA I got some vitamin sea Smile Great to be back on the water with Hoppy , Chris and Steve. Rigged Big as the wind was way below forcast, so the 7m Loft Rb CASL101 & Lessacher 28 Duo Weedie . Spent the first 2 hours being teased, grovle grovle, planing run then more grovel. Then finally the wind kicked & got a nice hour in up & down conditions, was surprisingly rough for the wind. Made 28k runs feel like 32kntsSurprised Wind was all over the place, started 5 -10 then 10-18 then a quick patch 17-25. With the rough water the 7 was plenty of workout first sail for a while.

All in all a great day, warm with cold beer to finnishTongue outCool

Boggy lake - 15 to 25.

Had a ball - heaps of people out enjoying the conditions.  Loved the 5km runs and cruising around.  Had some fun on a couple of gusts near the shore.  On a short window with the girls with me but made the most of it.  The Patrik 87 was a rocket and 1st time on the Black Project R30 what a fin.

Loved it!

Patrik 87 / 6.3m gun sails GSR / Black project R30.
