iS107, 7.0 RBlade, 36 Tribal Sl - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 13-18kn

Bit light on for the 7.0 but still okay.  Happy with my hour considering I've been forcing myself to unnaturally step gybe and fluffed a few.  Had a big thread fin salmon fly through the air right off my shoulder towards the end.  Beautiful and sunny but pretty messed up as usual.

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Back to light gusty crap, the gusts were few and far between. Out with Greg, Anne, Dave, Mike, Shaun, Chris and a couple of others.

Afternoon sail with Benny at Holloways.  One of the best sails I've had for a while or maybe the wind was blowing s-east for a change

making the conditions that little better. Wind appeared to be consistant the whole session.....a little different to the norm of late.

Ninja Billy dropped in for a dog walk and gasbag as we were washing down the gear....good to catch up with him.

Maybe there might be a couple more sails this week as Billy has a couple more days off......that is if I can get out of bed tomorrow!!

Clifton Beach, QLD, AU Sailed from home again in 12-17 knots .Gorgeous Easter Monday .Started on the JP super light wind 56cms JP prod fin & North Warp 9m2 .Good fun & gets going in very little wind .

Wind picked up a notch after lunch so switched boards to the FF 121 & had a great session out from Palm cove-some real nice water out from the jetty just off Double Island ...

Good way to finish a 4 day long weekend SmileSmile

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Mid afternoon fun sail with Freddo (the magnificent one).  Wind was a nice consistant 14-19kn South Easter I reckon...  Both Freddo and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  Laughing

Some of the runs felt pretty damn solid- perhaps encountering the ocean swell and chop exaggerated the actuals...  Happy with the hour in the conditions...  Felt a bit buggered by the end of the sesh today...  Can't wait until I can conquer some gybes...

Billy the "ninja turtle pacman" turned up while we were packing down for a dog walk and debrief.  Was good to see he hasn't lost any of his zest!  The lads might even be lucky enough to get some more sailing in over the next few days! Cool

Freddo gets man of the match at Holloways today!

Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne OD 7.8, BP Sabre 42.5

Well after 6 years off the board i decided to make my come back today. I watched Cam from the beach to get me inspired.

Got my GPS out. Flat Battery and i knew it wasnt going to end well. Rigged up my 8.4 and it didnt look normal but was comitted to go. Did one run out and back and i knew it the rig was off. Decided to make a change and bang she let go a nice hole in the panel level with the boom. Day done.

Maybe i'll try again in 6 more years.

Not really  a mate has a loft switchblade 8.5 i might get off him otherwise i'll send the sail for repair.

Hopefully i'll post some useless speeds in the future.

Hey Rowdy, great to hear you were out there giving it a crack! Cool John Fisher 0429123476 john@cairnssails.com.au (sailmaker in Cairns) has patched a couple of my sails...  Might be worth giving him a call.  Otherwise, I have a 7.4 Loft freeride sail that you can have for a six pack...  I've had my fair share of gratuity so would be more than happy to pass it on...
