Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Gusty Easterly, went out on 127/8.6 but wind picked up so came in and changed down to FOX105/7.5 Gator. That was nice for an Hr & a bit then wind backed off again so back onto the big gear again and sailed until nearly 4.30. Only Kiters out with me. GT31 went flat at 89 Kms so posted off backup Canmore.

ISONIC127/37WS/8.6 O/d and FOX105/36/7.5 Gator.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Super stoked with that little jaunt at the local wallow hole with Fred. Steady 15 kts and at times it was the smoothest ive seen Holloways. Nicely powered up all arvo with the best out wide where the big tinnies park and degourge all the paying fares. Great to see Fred finally getting out on his M112 - sounds like a bit tuning needs to happen before complete comfort, but other wise a great start to its new life.

Happy as with my NM score, just happened to stroll straight into a slightly extra breezy patch and before I knew it, we had cranked the "Tank", opened up the outhaul and set sail for Hawaii.

Sensational session: Used "The Tank" 140 AHD Diamond, 8.6 Loft RB, 48 SRide - Happy days.

Holloways with Billy. Arrived late , on the water about 3:05 and was quite an enjoyable afternoon.

Not quite as windy as yesterday but had some good company which made up for that!!

Billy looked the goods and could not be seen went I arrived but managed to meet him on my first run out.

Tried the Mistral 112  for the first time and it when quite well considering the sailor.

Next time should be better.....Billy give me a lesson today as he appears to be improving all the time.

Mitral 112,koyote 6.6, sting 2...46

Nice sessions guys!

Bloody good effort keeping the 6.6 & 112 going solid in the lighter winds Freddo!

B1's certainly raising the bar with every session!! - Great naughty on the "Tank" on an outward run mate!

And Pete, your fitness levels must be through the roof with all the K's clocked up out on the water- Impressive!

The FOX105 is a great board in messy chop, it has quite a lot of VEE through the whole board so is very smooth ride. Also one the easiest boards to gybe, Nice tuck in rails and spray chimes at front spit the water away from your eyes. Still quite fast with its slalom planshape and rockerline. Have done 34kts on it at Weyba on the 23-12-2018 with camless 6.4 Naih Noah, Geoff Ringe did 35.6 kts on his at Burrum on the 6-12-2018 with a 6.2 camless Hellcat. Daves wife Merena has one as well and goes well on it. I'm sure it would be great board for the conditions you get off the beaches in Cairns area from what I can remember about Yorkeys Knob when I sailed there a few times back in the 1990's
