Afternoon sail with Bill and Ben. Nice afternoon wind was up and down as well as changing directions but the sun stayed out to cap it off.

On my last run it was a little harder to get planning and had some holes so called it quits. Billy and Benny were both out sailing

after I had packed and heading home. They should have some good results......not that I saw much of them ....they do tend to go

out quite a ways!! Enjoyable sail and be interesting to see how they went.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Hard work today. Looked the goods on arrival. Decided to go light and rigged the old 7.8 - a huge angry squall came ripping through for about 20 mins whilst rigging up, much umming and arrring and in the end decided to just make the best of it. Once the angry stuff disapeared, the clouds appeared and the breeze backed off remarkably to a wafty 12-15 kts at times. Our good friend Freddo was relishing the trying conditions and had a great little session. Whilst the two fatties got bogged in the lulls, Freddo was up and running on his barn door hence his reasonably good hr. Managed to join him on our NM run out wide which was one of two of the better runs that were up for grabs this afternoon. B2 joined me on one of the many runs out wide looking for cleaner air, which in the end proved just to be a session in clocking up as many K's as possible.

Still beats doing chores at home. Used: Tinaroo Tank, 7.8 OD R4, 48 Sride

Nice little outing with Freddo "The Magnificent" and current "KA Kingdoms" King William I of Holloways Beach, QLD, AU.

Wind looked promising on arrival.  The clouds filtering through the valley were jousting with the clouds coming in off GI/Fitzroy-  bit of a tussle producing some patchy wind...  13-16kn SE~ESE~S~SSE   Thankfully the breeze stuck around long enough to get in a bit of fun.

Freddo sailed great in the lighter winds, man of the match performance I reckon!  King Bill & I managed to put in a few K's, albeit hard work at times.  Broke another batten on the Severne OD where the adjuster lever is...  Probably cost me a couple of knots WinkLaughing  Has anyone else had issues with these?

Still great to get out on the water for a scoot with some right royal company!

Used "Big Woody" Futura 124 Severne OD 8.6 Venom 48

Heading south so stopped in at Lake Cootharaba for a short sail. Super gusty wind but forecast isn't looking that great so got to take what you can get.

Royal B1 & B2 great effort....on my last run out I struggled to get going and the wind appeared to be dropping off so I pulled up

stumps and was thinking you guys would do the same ......but you kept going on some long runs.......could not see your sails at times.

As I drove off looked like rain coming and some squals...did it happen??

Good company....thanks guys

Didn't miss anything Freddo...  Not even "his royal highness of Holloways" could make it happen...  Wind died at the end of the sesh...  King Bill nearly fell on his own sword going out for more territory! Laughing
