5-14kts W- SW then 5- 20kts SSW Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m GT turbo - RS4 - 39cm C3 sting pointer

Got there early and on the water at 8am to catch the wind before it was predicted to die. Another go with Theo. Added more donwhaul to his sail and it set much better.

We got one good puff leaving the shore but then it was back to the usual patchy stuff. I got a few nice runs but he didn't have enough to get going.

Pretty lumpy out in front of Coal at first. I worked upwind to get over between the point and Rathmines where it was getting some better patches( 10-15kts) and was flatter.  A few nice runs over there . It was fun in the gusts but there weren't  enough of them.

We came in at 10am as it looked like it was over. Theo packed up and as he was leaving it kicked in pretty strongly. It was a pretty consistent 15-20kts plus between Coal and the islands and I was maxed out on the big gear at times. I'd already been out 2hrs in tiring patchy conditions so I didn't have the energy to do it justice . Dropped the clewhole and more outhaul. I actually thought about changing to the 7m - 90 combo but it died back to patchiness just in time for the foilers to go out..

Went back out because I wanted to get 40kms..really died off at the end. That combo is pretty wobbly gybing with buggerall wind in chop. Quite proud of my last gybe..The tail sank , the board went up on it's edge and it felt like I was going to lose it but I gritted my teeth and muttered  ' no way I'm going in!' ,  managed to get around and hold it clew first long enough to flip and survive..Cool

zzz I'm buggered..
