A quick session with a big mob before responsible parenting duties. Great fun day, the full story later. Coodanup, WA, AU

With such a good turn out of Peskys, and even a Teletubby or two, it was a great day to hand out parking fines to all those that haven’t bought their off- season FangyPass tickets. No sooner had I written them, I realised that quite a few of the Peskys were going to struggle with understanding the big words on the ticket. I noted Crimson Splash decided to avoid a ticket by parking next to the Kids Playground. The result of this sort of parking thoughtlessness; with nowhere safe to park, several dozen HoverMums got panicked at the sight of a weirdo in a white van next to the swings. I was torn at the sight of so many sad snotgobblers.

A second or two later I got over the torment and went to join Woody, Boz, and Lunny. The Windtech SB64, FF24 Swoody and paired up a KaRace7.1. Unfortunately my fin was contaminated by a Boznium spill on the water and my front fin bolt took a holiday from any sort of fastening duties. I spent the next half hour at least, trying to figure out why I was sailing so badly and spinning out incessantly. After splashing around like a tasered drunk for what seems like ages,I was pretty well knackered. Eventually, I discovered that the fin was just hanging on (and out) by the back bolt only. Every time I had flipped the board, the fin had dropped back into place. Such a Gumby mistake!

So back in for a FF22 and all was good in the world. I have got the footsteps in exactly the right position now and I spent what was left of my time and energy getting confident going downhill.  The SB64 was such a sweet ride and I never thought I was going to have a Loreena Bobbit moment running down the chop and then heading across to the river mouth chop. I can’t wait to get another session on that board!

And then I ran out time, but I was confident the Teletubbies would nail the session home, as they seemed to be knocking out some nice work on the downhill. Yep, a decent breeze and a nice session, Top Ten Fangy day for shizzle.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. Surprisingly consistent winds today, nicely powered up most of the time. No flat water, but had a great time blasting around in the chop all on my own. FF89/GPS7.3/TWS29 Smile
