Stupidly rigged the 6.3 and regretted it straight away as wind was extremely gusty and just didn't have the oomph in it from when first down on beach.  Came in and grabbed the 7.0 although by this stage light was fading fast and only got a couple more runs in.  Shore break was a real challenge & water was rough as guts so nowhere to really push it with the limited time

Snags, sailing at the train gives you heaps of practice gybing. The runs are pretty short.

You're getting some good speeds in the open water. Been almost 40 years since I sailed at Yeppoon and I don't remember it being real smooth except at the causeway.
