Patchy 15-25kts odd W - WSW Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

 5.5m Mach2- 80ltre isonic- 18cm tribal

My aim for the am was to try and get some planing gybes on the go pro. I tired really quickly today and thinking back on it I think it was the pull of all the stuff on my back..Money mouth

I wore the wizmount backpack over the 2ltre camelback..I did some good gybes but every now and then the camera would get dunked in the water and flopand if I waterstarted it would pickup a big clump of weed so who knows if I got any..Undecided I was sailing like a sack of spuds due to all the weight. Much better after lunch without it all..

Not a bad session for me..I wasn't trying for alphas today and got a better one than when I try..Undecided I'm happy with the 2 sec as I found it hard to line up a gust in the flatter water so that was in small chop.

I probably could have got a better 2sec if I'd used the 70ltre but I wanted to use the 80 as I'm used to gybing it..A couple of nice gusts.

Died down after lunch so the early birds got the best of it.

Probably could have gone the 16cm tribal although I spun out a fair bit today in the small chop..probably because I was hanging back with all the weight pulling me.

Andrew , Greg , Frothie , Georgio, Matt and then later Mick , Russ, Bill and others.

Exocet RS4, TRX 7.0, Delta 24 - Wind SSW 10-18 knots

Got there a bit late and missed the best wind, but still a bit of fun.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

FF70 6.2 North. 17cm Techtonics. Launched with Greg at Brandon Lane. A bit cool early on but turned out to be quite a nice day for standing around in knee deep murky water. It clearly a popular weekend passtime as about 15 others had the same idea
