Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Nice little fat mans wallow at the local mud pit. Witht he ridge breaking down, it was alway going to be a bit of an ask, however, with B2 by my side. out we went. As you can see by the hr, it certainly wasnt a dream day out. The breeze just never really got above 10-12 knts. Tried out wide, hoping to catch an Arlington southerly, but alas, it was a very long plod back to the beach.

Water was clear, plenty of wildlife, and great company: Used - The Tank, 8.6 LOft RB, BPR 475

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Very light wind sail at the local mud pit with B1...  Got out on the water about 45mins after King Bill who seemed keen as mustard way down wind somewhere near Double Island!  Was thinking I may have had to pick him up at one of the other beaches...

Gaz turned up on his motorbike in true "Maverick" style for a quick look & gasbag as I was rigging up-  noticed my boom head was quite loose after last week's stack, so will need to look at that...

A lot of dredging today, dropped the "F" bomb quite a few times...  King Bill managed to jag the one little lucky gust of the day by the looks, albeit to the detriment of a long hard upwind slug back to base.

Got ya on the Naughty again B1!  Laughing

Still nice to be out on the water with good company on a nice sunny late Autumn day!

Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne OD 8.6, Venom 48
