At least we got wet!6.6koncept, 65cm board and 26cm 45d weedy

First time at cobblers since I can't remember.

I think Stretch killed it by driving all the way up from Bunbury. He'd texted me while we were in that first little peak at 0800, 15 to 17konts and rising. But by the time I got to Cobblers at 0939 the wind had dropped to 12, after stretch arrived shortly afater it just kept falling. He kindly decided to leave at 1045, after that it picked up nicely, and a few fun runs were had. I sailed downwind to Ward Pt where it was flater, but not super flat considering wind strength.

Leschenault, WA, AU Have to work tomorrow so was desperate for a sail today, I havent been out since FOREVER!! Despite a positive forecast there was no wind in Bunbury this morning so I headed up to Cobblers in Mandurah where there was wind. Sure enough by the time I got there the wind had turned off, but good to catch up with Mike, Hardie and Yoyo. By now I noticed Bunbury was improving so I headed home. Yep, wind turned back on in Mandurah as I crossed the Dawesville bridge. Got down to the Cesspit and the wind was unconvincing but I decided to give it a crack anyway. It was better than expected: 15-18kts and I was planing most of the time. That'll do me! Smile

Woody and me did see someone sailing in the distance😁Boombas was a bust looked promising around 8:30. At least we had an adventure found the towing breaking strain of an up haul rope not very flash, surprising towing capacity of a harness line Velcro but the best of all 4mm Marlo downhaul rope can actually tow a 2 tonne troopy.
