Another epic foiling day with Simon - W18-28. Chop a little smaller than yesterday but still big enough to ride downwind Smile

Arrived at 8ish to see Boz and Lunny heading out. Joined them but the wind faded. Went in to call it quits and Stroppo sold us on the idea of the wind picking up as we sat freezing. He told a good story and as it turned out 2 hours later it did. Not sure if Boz's feet without booties are still frozen? Fun session alround with Tim, Simon joining us out. Andrew arrived just in time for the wind to boot in at about 4 so hopefully good fun was had. Manta 59 to get a 36.9 then the 61 later to get the 2sec. Vapor 6.4 Lunny WP26

Arrived for the afternoon shift to see a select bunch of diehards heading into to the bleak and cold gloom that is otherwise known as Fangy's pond. After a quick chat and hello decided to go with the FF98 but found it was not in the car! so went with the Iso87 instead. The Westerly was very gusty which made it difficult trying to time a run at the bank, where the flattest water was found. Good to see Tailwind make a very late, late appearance.

Cold Gusty day and very cold feet, think I need a pair of booties and join the warm brigade, two sessions first with the 5.5KAR felt good in the gusts but under in certain sections, decided to switch to the 6.3 KAR but would have been better of staying on the 5.5 which rigs on the correct mast and feels crisp compared to the 6.3 today. Great to catch uo with the die hard Pinnas braving the cold and a late arrival of Strop and Slugger and eventually Tim and lastly Andrew. Another great sail could have been warmer and the wind direction wish it stayed as the morning session would have then been a epic day.

Great stuff Dan. Sounds like a good session with the fanged one. Don't believe a word he says about 40 virgins if you join the manja mob.
