Woo Hoo, the new GT foil is much quicker than the old one. My top 10s is faster than my best 2s by a knot on the old foil. I was joined in good old Rocko by Slug, Strop, Luke and Later Jonski who decided we were all soft for wearing steamers. 

To start with there was no wind for the first couple of runs and then bang it was all on for a while which led to a couple of scary high speed crashes for me. The new improved high strength nose held up well. It then settled down for a while which was much more enjoyable.

Highlight of the day was near the end watching Strop sending it over by the causway full speed into a full on breach and round the front crash that Elmo would have been proud of. 

Great to have such a good crew out on a winters day.

Koombana Bay, WA, AU Smik 7"8 transformer, GA 5.8, Infinity84 foil

Tested out the bottom range of the big Infinity84 in a weak 5-10knt SW'er. Got some nice long runs in close to glassy water. I was out 2.30pm.
