sboardcrazy (24363km):  6 categories       5-15kts Sw - SSW Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.49 so still up pretty high. 7.5m Gt Turbo- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 24cm FF then 7m M2 OD - 87ltre iso- 18cm tribal delta Only one on the lake today..Icey and nowhere near the predicted wind. Not enough to get going on the big kit at times. Fun practising gybes and dodging weedbergs. There were some nice flat bits because there wasn't any wind! I tried one slight bearaway and I almost went round the front when the fangy snagged a submerged berg. After that no more bearaways , I kept above most of them and I was careful amongst them. Cold and my leg was playing up so came in for lunch. 25.5kts on the run in. A few decent gusts as I waited and I thought it was going to come in. the graph was saying 17-22kts but no way was that getting on the lake! By the time I got back out it had died to 10-12kts.. I got upwind and waited for a decent gust and got one slightly powered bearaway to get the 2 sec. then the rain came in and killed it. Oh well it's all TOW and boy I'm looking forward to that fire now.
