Pretty gusty out on the Swan, still lucky to get out i guess.
Rigged the 9 first but it became a handful after a few runs so on with the 8.

Sailed with Fangy as hadn't sailed at Yunderup before. Breeze was a bit patchy before we went out, but filled in reasonably and looked encouraging. I got a good gust and was nicely powered up for the first long run, however I could feel the breeze dropping out in the middle and when I gybed found that it was a struggle to get planing again. I had kindly lent my big board to Fangy, so slogged back home on the WT 64 trying to make ground to windward for a couple of k's. Wind filled in nicely once we had unrigged.
One thing to mention is that Fangy advised that my Fangyfin 24 wasnt necessary and that I would be fine with a weed speed as the tide was quite high, however I was surprised at the amount of weed just under the surface. I got a couple of good tugs on the fin, and there were one or two large weedbergs that I had to sail around, so I would definitely advise a Fangyfin or a Lockwood delta at Yunderup if the tide is lower than today.

Started off with the foil then changed to the slalom board. Very up and down wind made it hard to get comfortable on any rig. Hadnt foiled in a little while so was a bit cautious.
5m overdrive, 117 isonic NP alu then mistral 91.
