Lonesome session today at South Yunderup. Fangy didn't turn up due to a painter not showing up (bloody tradies!). Oh well, missed a good couple of hours although was pretty lumpy out there and quite a few nasty weedbergs around.

Started out with the 91L Mistral with 6.3 Loft Racing Blade and 29cm Tribal speedweed. Changed over to the Windtech 57 with 20cm Tribal delta as I'd had a couple of close calls with the weedbergs. Clocked the 34 2sec on that rig so was pretty happy with that given the choppy conditions.

Gusty and not quite the right direction, good company with Dodi, Craige and Mark and late arrival Shane. Started with 5.5 changed up after the first run to 6.3 as it didn't seem that windy on the outside, would have been better to stick with the 5.5 as it's the only sail that rigs on the right mast. The gusts put the 6.3 out of shape and on one notable mid Chook Pond run got picked up and slammed like a rag doll, sail went totally out of shape and decided it wanted to be a kamakazi parachuter called it quits before any majior damage to gear or self. Was contemplating a second sesh at Melville but didn't look epic enough for me to don on the cold wet wetsuit again. Good to catch up with Shane, Slowy Ken JJ and a couple other mad nutters.

A fun session with gusty winds. Not as strong as expected apart from a few. Good to share the runs with Boz, Doddi, Windsup & Shane. Managed not to bugger up the GPS today. Actually turned in on and off at the right time. Manta 59 Vapor 6.4 Wp 25
