Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Second day of holidays...  Fun little mid arvo winter solo sesh in "boardies" at the local mud pit!  Predominately Southerly wind again today- 14~18kn I reckon with the occasional 20kn gust.

Water was quite choppy with some large swell which at times I just decided to tackle head on catching some air!

Lots of sea life present.  Had a mackeral jump out of the water right next to me as I was blatting along...  I swear the fish winked at me- brought a smile to the dial Cool

King Bill dropped by after WORK as I was derigging for a quick gas bag.  Think he was just checking up on things just in case his "Kingdom" may suddenly become under threat! Laughing

Tried a different rig combo today- BP Sabre 37.5 plugged into "Big Woody" Futura 124 with Severne OD R6 7.8

Fin performed great under load in steady wind, did not slip once & was also quite easy to point upwind.  Was a little bit sticky when the wind was lighter- could have done with a little bit more lift in those times.

Hopefully more time on the water for the next couple of days before heading off the Mehico!

Nice session Peter!! Cool

Will definitely have to get down to Burrum sometime sooner rather than later- sounds like a great place to sail!
