Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Nice and sunny 20 degrees but forcast did not eventuate. Enough to get on the plane for about 30 minutes but not much power in the gusts.

115 Patrik 7.8 Loft RB.

I work with a 76YO coworker. He always asks me "Did you do yer.. yer wing surfing on the weekend Jase ?"  (he calls it wing surfing). I said "Bill, every none wing surfer, who thinks of the perfect condtions to go wing surfing, well that was what I had on Saturday.". In reality, it's cold squally conditions that we all love to get those 30's and 40's right ?, not sunny magazine pictorial conditions Cool

Didn't bring my gps, but been freeriding on rental gear off a spit in Maui this week, averaging 17kts cross shore with warm water conditions and the odd suitcase-sized turtle to dodge. Do not want to hit one of them. Plenty of guys and girls on water, mostly flicky-spinny but a few open-ocean slalom sailors who ride cammed and seem un-fazed riding the fin over choppy swell. Bold as brass, inspiring to watch.

Being on freeride, I feel largely underpowered compared to my usual fare, so I don't imagine I'll have set any PBs. Except perhaps actual water starts per session which are not something I do a lot of in el'Bog. Locals tell me they've sailed 105 day so far this year. It's shorts-sailing all year round. They've got it good here. Sell everything and apply for that residency visa lads!
