Wahoo, my very first alpha result! Been a long time coming. Was down at South Yunderup with Decrepit and had a nice couple of hours on a westerly.

Was on my 57 Windtch silver bullet with 6.3 Loft Racing Blade and 18cm Lockwood delta fin. Lots of weedbergs around today but managed to survive.

Not so cold and a bit of sunshine made for a nice sail at melville. Went for an hour but wind dropped to nothing half way through.

6.2 Overdrive, 91 mistral, 31 select pointer.

Road trip to Australind, fun but hardest 100k's so stop and start with the wind a bit shifty as well, forcasts are never true in winter no real speed today couldn't time it with the little manta. Big crew out from the Busso Boys, MOB and CST team.Greatto be on the water could have done with a bit more consistant wind.

Manta 54, KAR 6.3

Looks like you're being ripped off with the alpha Dan, not sure if it's the GT31 or KA72, but these are the results speedreader gives from the GW60, as it ran out of juice fairly soon after the alphas, the other results are meaningless. But notice you have 4 19kt alphas and an 18kt, so I don't know how you only rate a 17

And here's the GE view with where it all happened.

At last Dan! Congrats on the PB alpha. That must have made you feel a bit better after getting your tail whipped by the geographically challenged old fart himself in the speed stakes.Foot in mouthLaughing

Nice one Daryl, looks like you’re enjoying the free ride set up. I’m trying to figure out your tracks - multiple gybes linked together?

I will pinch Jespers gear off him for a demo one day and join you. After today l know I need a smaller board for the strong winds, the formula was getting blown around a bit.

It’s easier for sure in ocean swells and/or strong wind with a small board.
