The Deputy (3123km): What a day. Think the only person missing was Bjorn Dunkerbeck (That shows how old I am). Great to meet the sailors from the North. On the Carve 111 and one of Daves sails great day.

Old Salt (13613km): Well it was like windsurfing with rock stars today! Great turnout for Australind Lets see, Stretch SluGger Stroppo Boz Elmo ..... and then there were the mere mortals of Dave, Drew, Zuls, Lachy and slow Steve. Wind was good and had a good day out, but was a little sad with my 2sec but understandable given the sore ribs. All round great day! Thanks for the foiling information and advice Strop Isonic 87L (Scarlet), Severne OD M2 6.2, Tribal WS 29 Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU
Zuls (1682km): Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU Mistral SL91, NP RSR 7.0, T WS 29 Nice easy winter sail on new toy - no doubt that better figures would be found if I went bigger as everyone keep suggesting, but it was the first chance to use the new toy in not ideal conditions or fitness.
A blast. Thanks salt man for the loan of the fin bolts.
BSN101 (13401km): JPSS125 Tribal CLSL2 38, JPSS101 Tribal WS 29 SailLoft Ultimate 7.0 Its been such a long time since we've all been out and there was 10 today! frome everywhere even Stretchy from Kojonup! My first session on the SailLoft curtisy Karin & Patrik. Had a few issues when i rigged it as the previouse user left the mast plug in the top of the sail and made it really hard to put the mast in with its plug where it should be. Stroppo & Slugger assisted and really looked funny inserting screw drivers in hte top of the sail and all the noises associated with it, LOL. It worked exactly as it should. Heavy when schlogging feather weight when powered up and stable when over done. I tried both upper & wower clew positions and they both work. Build is super soilid and plenty fast for me. Great having Steve Drew & Marcus with me (Chris just couldnt make it) and all the others too. Simon Boz Elmo Stretchy Lachy Stroppo, wow such a great crew out. Water was flat in front of the squalls and lumpy during. Runs were supe cramp creating long and the water a quite acceptible temp. Some great numbers posted in speed & distance. What a great day! Ill post some pix asap, Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU |
