1704 days ago  Port Douglas, QLD, AU..Quick blast after work with Andrew and Rick..Andrew was smart and got out for a blast early before it all turned ugly,Buy the time me and Rick hit the water wind was honking hard and it was realy getting choppy with some big stuff out wide..Spent a bit of time helping Rick dial in his new 5.5m no cam severn...Yer it ended up being a' match made in heaven' and he had a nice little blast on it..I ended up having a solid session on 105Fox with 6.5m severn turbo in full lock down mode, 38cm fin..Fox never put a foot wrong with its nose in the air mast back and plenty of fin,but it took some big hits out wide which is what kill my first Fox, but i think this one is a bit stronger..Didn't realy do any down winders as it was to rough and i was a bit shagged from work before i went out..There was a chance it could of ended badly and i wasn't in the mood for a long paddle home..So i decided to be content abusing the new Fox in the choppy sea till i ran out of Fuel..Had a good session but dropped one gybe out the back..Felt like i had done a few more kms than i did.'.But you get that some times'..Guess it was worth rigging up for cheers Ed..
