A nice warm day with majestic sights! Wind finally came in late morning and looked strong so rigged small. However very on/off and gradually dropped around midday. Lunny and Mr Severne seemed to be having a decent session out there. 

The highlight of the day was seeing the dolphins in the middle and the flock of birds following them around.

Looked like a non event for a while but soon delivered nicely. Shame you had to leave Tim as it would have been nice footage.

The 9 was a monster in some gusts.

Punta Poloma, Tarifa Spain

My first post from Tarifa! Sailed off Punta Poloma near the big sand dune about 15kms west of Tarifa. Hired a Goya Nexus 5.4 freeride sail (35 Euro for 3hrs) and used Windtech57 Silver Bullet with 30cm Windtech fin. Winds were quite up and down and lots of big holes everywhere so was a bit hard to get any good runs - very choppy too. Definitely missing my Loft Racing Blades - freeride sails just don't compare wrt power and control. Anyway, looking like some big days coming up so hoping to post some more (decent) results over the next few days. Hope all you Pinnas are managing to get a bit of sailing in back home.
