5.5 Mach2 - 87ltre iso - 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24)

7m OD - 87ltre - 21.5FF

Got there to 20-25kts..stuffed around and rigged the 5.5m - 80ltre - 18 tribal.. By the time I was ready to hit the water there was 5kts. Waited for a while and then went out for a slog with the 5.5m on the 87ltre..Ready to give up but it came up a bit so I risked it and rigged the 7m OD ( 7.5m - 111ltre would have been the go).

 Went out with the 7m on the 87ltre. Off the plane a lot but a few stronger patches were fun especially as there was flatwater and nice wide channels between the weedbergs..just not enough wind! I was bouncing along the bottom off the plane with the 21.5cm and bottomed out on the rig flip gybing so it's getting shallower.

I went in below a line of weed and decided to walk the gear up above it and wait for wind.. Ugh! hard work. Thigh deep and dry thick weed to drag everything through. Next time I'll stop before I get in the middle of it.

 It was tiring as it was on and off but I was still a bit crook and unfit . I was buggered after 40mins..

Just Milsy and me , Cameron came out later and Andrew once I was in. Byron had 2 subplaning runs on the speed gear. A few hopefuls on the shore but they gave up and went home.

Isonic 90, 19cm BP and North 6.2.  NW 3-20kts

On again off again westerly with a lot more off than on. Slightly better from 3pm onwards but not much.

Still can't complain, it was nice and warm and had the car park all to myself.
