My first sail on the big gear and in chop since I got crook. I knew it wouldn't be a long one as I'm still not feeling great. A bit more wind than I wanted at the start and some lumpy 2 1/2ft cross chop. Only managed one decent gybe , ran aground on each of the ones over at the sand islands. Luckily I was being cautious and didn't go in too far.
It died off a bit at the end which was nicer. I had to pump to get going but it was cruisier and the lake was flatter. Sailing on port tack was right into the sun. The water was lit a brilliant silver and I couldn't see the gusts , chop or hazards. I also only had one eye as my glasses were fogged up so I figured it was time to come in.
Just me and one yacht and a cruiser.
It's going to take a while for me to get my fitness and skills back..
