Cottesloe, WA, AU

Fun session with the Slingshot team Cool

Also Dan, Kenny and Boz. Kenny was getting some nice rides on his windsurf-SUP Smile

A few decent waves - SW 12-17 knots

105, 76, Blacktip 5.9

Melville Beach, WA, AU iS111, 40 LE weedy, 7m Koncept

A fluffy variable wind, SW - SSW about 8 knots inshore and 12 over the sand bar.

Planing about half the time. Fin hit the bottom near the flags later as the tide dropped. I was glad I chose to use the weedy and not the pointer.

A pleasant sail with about half a dozen out. Worth the effort for pleasure and fitness and practice, but not for the numbers.

Nice cruisy sail at Dutchies on the Windtech 72 with 7.8 Loft Racing Blade and 33cm Tribal SpeedWeed fin. Saw Boz and Kenn out having a grovel and JJ doing his Mr Squiggle routine (looked like he was having fun). Good to be back on Perth waters again after my couple of weeks in Tarifa where I had a few days of between 30-40kts. Good to see Neil come down for a look too - unfortunately not a lot of action with the wind being fairly light. Looking forward to the seabreezes - not far away now.

Torbole, Lake Garda/  IT, Fanatic Gecko 112L, 6,5 m²

Had a great long weekend at Lake Garda / Italy

Sat and Sun hundreds of windsurfer, ferries, speed boats, sailing regattas and RS-X training on the water. Very choppy and challenging.

But I had a great time :-)

Nice waves at Dutchies and not much weed about. I went out on the FSW board first but soon changed to the SUP board. Caught a few waves over at deep six. Still feel like a total wannabe wave sailor. Laughing

Pretty impressive to see up close JJ ride the swells from out the back towards the shore. Also good to see Boz and Dan out there getting some runs. Good to see Neil is on the mend too.

I wonder why more people dont take advantage of the swells/light SSW wind at dutchies whether its on a windSUP or foil?

Great little session, bit light on with more west in the South than usual, very fluffy wind but nice to be out with the dutchies crew. Deep6 working well with the swell, artificial reef was going off as well, couple of the boys making the most of it.Kenny your doing brilliantly on that windsup👍Foilers heaven today, slingshot boys carving it today. Reckon the cops where watching the slingshot boys squiggling like drunken sailors and set up a booze bus just down the road😁
