I decided to go to Kurnell, seeing as I doubt it was windy enough for anyone else... but I was probably wrong, picked up to 12-18kts.
At first I tried the 800mm foil with 7.7 but the lull's beat me, so I swapped out to the 1000 foil. Big difference in minimum wind and very similar top speed. No catapults. No flying gybes (5kt alpha should make that pretty obvious)!
Pumping the board to 10kts in 8-10kt 'gusts' is hard work! Especially with a thread of weed on the 'fin'...
