Very light wind. Planing about 30% of the time, but, still a sail, so it was good. Better than not sailing.

Sailed with Larko and Alec, plus Norm. A couple came out later.

Was away yesterday, so had to settle for a very ordinary 11 - 14 knt NE-er today. Took advantage of the high water level to launch from Buff Point and rigged my new 7.8 Simmer SC Race (ex Matty D) - quite nice when the gusts were hard enough to get planing - which wasn't often. Starboard Carve 145L with Delta 24 fin (started with a 38 weedie but was dragging it on the weed bank). Went for an exploratry sail over towards the Eastern shore where it is normally only inches deep, but was running out of daylight to get all the way. Would love a decent SE-er to try it whilst the water level is still high!                        Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU.
