1613 days ago Yeehaa! I managed a session without breaking something or a walk of shame.
Iain was on the plot early and gave the heads up that study was to be shelved and sailing was due. Having totalled the mast for the 9.4, my next biggest option was the SimmerSCR8.6. After the last few sessions on the 9.4, the 8.6 felt small and nimble by comparison! Cap’n Calm,Joe V and later Strop, NufFin, and Pacey all managed to join in on a midweek cruise, but the hardest workers seem to be the rays. Gone is the blitzkrieg of baby crabs from a few days ago, and in their place lots of rays who must have done some serious gorging in the last few days. There are still crabs, but their ranks have been mightily thinned.
So, no kamikaze crabs, some nice water and 12-13 knots of breeze equalled a very pleasant session on the Barge. And topped it all off with a gust that lasted the whole run back. Top Ten Fangy day right there :-)

I new I was taking a chance rigging the 6.2 on the 53, but I needed a change from the 6.6 on the 65, but I was hoping for some nice gusts and didn't want to have too much up when they came through.
So I did a lot of floating around watching the others fly past, (especially Fin!), But I did get a fe nice gusts.

last pit of breez to get a run up to the top and back. Had f2 SX-R58, ka kon6.6, 55/22cm weed.
