I didn't think there would be enough wind for me . It was too light and patchy in front of Coal but I slowly slogged up into Belmont Bay where there was more. It was still a bit patchy but I had some lovely blissful runs across the bay. I'm getting better at getting going and was surprised at how long I could cruise through the lulls.
My favourite conditions for the big kit - just crusing at 12 -18kts looking at the scenery and practising my stance. Much flatter up there too .It tends to be a bit lumpy off Coal in that direction
Only Andrew , Tony and I out. Tony reckons it was Tom Slingsy on the foiling moth in Belmont Bay. We certainly have some superstar sailors on Lake Macquarie!
Still blissed out. A lovely day.
