Ummed and arrrred about 7 or 7.8 whist everyone looked at mne strangely, went witht he smaller option as the wind looked to nbe building, it did kinda but not as much as was expected, or perhaps it's because I had the speed board prepped and ready to go on the shore.

Still it was quite nice zipping back and forth accross the chanel especially as it was more consistant than yesterday.

Got to do a few nice runs off the wind, but noything special, just fun.

A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Doh! The breeze was looking good until I was as far away from the car park as I could get. Then it spluttered and started to fail. I tried to make it home on the last gasps but didn't quite make it. Sigh...Another rather large fail from BoM.

Reality versus Expectation..

I had the best session........ well compared to Stretch and Fangy that is. I was up and going 100% of the time even through the gybes was good just no speed available. I sailed up to Boundry island but holes were appearing in the wind and I realised Ive played this game before of spending 30 mins sailing upwind only to find the wind disapears then you get to walk back well not this time huey not this time>

Coodanup, WA, AU. was looking like a good day, but was cut short by a broken harness line, dicking around with fins, then  injured ribs (landed on boom) resulting from a dumb fin choice. Peak and nauty were on my only good run on the way back to shore to fit new lines.

A sunny day out at Liptons. Nice to see Elmo, Stroppo, Hardie, Yoyo and Boz and a big group of kitesurfers. Had a moderate attempt at the hour of power today. Fitness was really pushed but a few big holes in the wind also didn't help.  Still, really great to be on the water and to ride my new board and to get a fair deal of powered up blasting.
