Sandy Point, Vic.

A rare SW direction wind. Great for blasting up and down but too tight for best speeds. It was gusting over 30 knots so we still went with speed boards and 5.2's.

I had forgotton how on the edge you can be square reaching at over 36 knots in over 30 knots of wind. Bit of fun! Laughing

Great to sail at the PiT with Mat and Ado. Just like the old days but slower. LOL!

We werre hoping to do an hour and some alphas but didnt feel comforable enough. My alpha was the one and only Gybe I did.

CA40, Koncept Speed 5.2m, C3 symmetrical 19cm slingshot.

Sandy Point, Vic, AU

First outing for the KA Speed 5.2. Super smooth and balanced but not windy enough for it. 25 knots max.

Mistral 41 + MXR 20 Symmetrical.

Super smooth ball bearing water state. 10 more knots, 10 degrees more west and an assy and bingo it would have a 45 day.

Sweet sail with the lads.
