Out with Roland, Pete, Shane and some of the crew. Top sail on a South Easter. Rough in the middle of the washing machine near the markers but further out some huge swell and nice to ride. Nice bump and jumps and some speed over the rough and swell. Slapped some cresting waves - was like wave sailing at times particularly coming back to base and against the chop. Visceral sailing. Great fun.

Better on the outgoing tide. Some crackling waves out the back. Became completely airborn a few times. Ben, Rolz, Pete, Troy, Simon, and Dave out for this session. Ben hooked in and disappeared over the horizon on the very first run. Kiwi Pete had a 4.2m2 and his little JP board.
