Nice after christmas sail with Hoppy. After 3 christmas dinners I needed the work out. Rigged the 6.3 Loft on the Isonic 87 & FF22. Did all my good sailing early then the overinduldging caught up & I started sailing like a gumby sack of spuds Embarassed Note to self dont go in and change fin at the 50m markFrown. A cold bfrothie with hop finnished a nice session.

Bgogy Lake, SA, AU.

Epic Day got ther at 9am  drove acroos to over side of lake south side. Stash  and I started winching out the old jetty / fence posts that Sam and I found last sunday.

3hrs later we had pulled out 10 posts and 90 "widow makers" out of the area , about 80 m out. 2 lines of them about 5m apart . farmer said that that was from the paddle steamer days??  to get the sheep on.  anyway  most we could find by running a chain along are gone . Pretty frightening actually.

Lots were only 20cm below the surface and sharp as. we have been gybing there for quite a time. will do final swepp with Sam's boat soon. Should be a safe speed course now.

so started sailing at 2pm North wind 20 knots , 6.3 with 59cm , dropped out left standing. they front kicked in 25knots, went to 5.7 and and 53cm speed. way out of control, then went down to 5.2 and 49cm speed board( annoying not tuned right and wind dropped. then went to 6.3 and 53 patrick speed , finally wind stay at 20 to 25 for 2 hrs and we had a hoot dragging out and back

Jimbo was there blasting along too pretty fast !

10 hrs in the water today TRASHED.

Awesome work Pete and Stash. I'll bring the tinny one morning and give it a final sweep. I've always gybed there thinking can't be that bad. 😂😂.

 Wow Awesome stuff 😁

The last boy on a fence like to the north west of bog is actually not the last one. Missed the actual last one by a meter a couple weeks back. It's not sharp like those but still bloody dangerous.

 Great work guys😁

Phoar...outstanding community service lads! In the decades I've been sailing Bog, we'd always just kept clear. To my knowledge no one's been hurt there but some time back I heard Norm punched a hole punched in his board dropping a gybe there, maybe in lower water.

Awesome work! Now what to do about dem carp! Happy new year everybody, may 2020 bring you PBs!

Hey guys,

I'm very happy to get rid of unwanted "stuff in the water"

I actually cant believe no one has not been stuck down by these stacks ?  its seems to be in the perfect spot wher you gybe to line up for the speed run behind the westerly reeds.

Also being new to the area, Im not sure how people know where all these secret dangers are apart from talking to each other. Yes I know that's the normal way.

Im happy to do some more. for example . on the northern bank ther are a series of fences going out. Is the last pole in the water that you can see , the actual last pole?

cheers fellas and happy new year.
