Another great summer windsurfing session at Sandy Point. Nearly as good as it gets for just fun blasting. 20-25 knots and sunny, with lots of sailors having a blast.
Went with 2020 KA speed 5.7m and it was perfect. Started on the IS87 with 27cm Tribal Weedspeed. When the wind steadied in a bit and increased maybe 2 knots, I switched to the JP70L with tribal 21cm weedspeed. Best top speeds on this combo. Switched back to IS87 when the wind eased just a toch again, but also eased the DH 5mm. Sail felt more grunty like that and no bad side effects so I marked that spot!
I was about to leave for LG this morning, but decided to sail this today and very glad I did. I may head off tonight to LG anyhow as the next few days look nice over there.

1572 days ago went to The Pit, but swimmers at The Pit- argh- went to Mahers instead- with Kempster, pete, frank, and jas. blo-win off and nobody else tried the latest sail acquistion 5.8KA knocept, maybe shoulda used the 4.7NP instead- but surprised as anything how good the KA felt to use. A straight fin not a good choice here today, board choice good, wind bullets not fair, more in the water against wind current and mud today- JIBE uyu 1d1oT jibe!went to Sandy later on way home just in case-rigged another latest acquistion, the 6.6KA knocept- easy to handle, lighter than a severne. used a weedfin this session on 94isonic- for a short sesh was probabaly wrong sail choice, 5.8 prob better, even NP4.7, but wind flukey over the dune. only av 23.55, max 27.85, and 4 km- so isonic 70 or 80L next acq'n. AND jibing.
