Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Fun light wind arvo sail with B1 off the mudpit!  Bit light on to begin with, but picked up just enough to enjoy a blat around for the most part Smile

Used the new Motion GPS for the first time today- B1 kindly gave me a few pointers navigating through the screen menu, thanks mate! Wink  Found it very easy to download the data (wireless) and upload to KA72...  pretty much fool proof! Surprised

On the big gear again today- Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne 8.6 M2, Venom 48

Might get out for another session tomoz...

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Fun session with B2, who had already clocked up a few k's by that time I hit the Mud Pit. Nothing over 13kts today and a very fast running tide and switching breeze which made life interesting at times. Turned out to be quite a physical sail. Still couldn't find the groove on B2's "Busted" 8.6 R4. Gave it the 3 extra cm to rig to spec, but it still has a few more in her I feel. Still quite heavy and no power , so we will have another crack tomorrow.

In all seriousness though, B2 is cracking it at the moment. Looked the goods on the water today and flew past me quite a few times. I just had to sit back, enjoy B2's success and enjoy the arvo on the water - cant wait to have a crack tomorrow. Wont be a Manbra session (that was seriously awesome stuff) but it is supposed to lift a few kts which willl be awesome if it eventuates.

Missed ya on the water Fred, safe travel home my friend.

Used: Motion, WT72 SB, 8.6 R4, 475 BPR.

Urangan, QLD, AU.

FALCON 140, DUOTONE 8.4, V/MAX 45.

First sail for 2020, the wind was very light only about 12 to 14 knots, but it was fun.
