Coal Point - Catalina Bay

West/Nor West gusting 5 - 30 I would suggest.

Bloody strong gusts. Needed big board to get out from Coal Point but was too big when in the breeze, bloody hectic but good at the same time. Would be ace if there was a good launch spot inside the bay. Andrew was ripping about on his foil.

Great speed Tim! You're crazy foiling in that Andrew..

I was watching someone rigging at Coal and thinking it would be a hard place to sail those conditions..The park opposite the primary school would be a better launch for those winds?

Wippi Reserve Sue? Based on image alone it would have been bloody spot on.

Yes Tim, Wippi is a good spot in that direction. But if it is a few degrees more towards the North then better off at the other end of Rofe Street

Yep..I sailed into it for a rest once when it was NW. I'd launched at Coal but noted it for later launches..
