hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU N 15-25 FF102, GPS6.6, 27 Choco weedy Was not thinking about sailing today as the forecast was 10-15. But got a call from Tricky saying he could see whgite caps from his place. Bundled the stuff in the rocket and wizzed down to find decent wind. Got out onto the back of the spit and sailed that line in and out. Was great fun on the flat and a solid workout. Some one ran into a shark today and it was not me. Well pleased

Tricky Bogan (21417km): A doddgy forcast with a small 1 hr peak wind at 12:30 mmm havent sailed for eva So when the wind kicked in early I hit the raod after calling hoppy who said see ya there!. Arrived with 15-17 so rigged the big gear 7 Loft Rb CA 101 & loades the 22 FF. Wind slowly built to a steady 17-21knt with a very rear 25k gust. It turmned out to be a real cracker of a sail the FF was working over time today razor fish, weed oyster basket & to top it of hit a small shark in the shallows after sailing round a 3' one the lap eariler must have been pushing the limit for the Fany as I had a 3mm gap on the leading edge when I got back in, that explains the odd spinn out with weed jamed in the gap. After a great sail I caught up with Hoppy said I think the wind is droppy & lets head for home, I worked up wind round the out side of the oyster leases found a gap & was back in the bay. Hoppy did 1 last run & the wind dripped & the had to walk back between the leases. I did another 5 laps waiting for him Cracker Sail | ||||||||||||||||||
Choco (14530km): Crappy sort of day, blowing it's tits off then nothing 40+ degc, first run out wind swung off shore then spent the rest of the short session getting back.
