Early knockoff for a desperation sail after 6 weeks off the water. Christened the new 8.5 Ezzy Lion on the Barn door and it worked a treat in the light conditions until the outhaul fitting broke on the old boom.  This will probably be the go to rig for the summer 10-15knt days.

Safety Bay, WA, AU . Light Sea Breeze to ~ 16/17 knots .New venue for me & it was fun .The speed run looks like a classic speed run -I understand Slowie has nailed it here before the vegetation got so high ...Yell

Used the Iso 107 /RRD firewing 7.8 & TSW 35 .

Sailed with JP & enjoyed the variety -pretty rough out wide  but really scenic backdrop .Kiters everywhere but all well behaved ...SmileCool

hey Cam, sorry missed you. That sand bar has been covered in trees and stuff for 25 years and shifting all over the place... fastest speeds down there were over the shallow weedbank SE of the sandbar- 46 peaks from memory on a nuclear day maxed on 5m doing suicide runs through the chop (tide was too high and wind too much west with waves breaking over it).
