Fun sail at Pt Grey, Just in case the forecast didn't deliver, went early once there was enough for the 5.3, 5.7 20cm combo.

I'm experimenting with harness hook heights, the theory being that a igher hook takes the load off the lower back. Voltaren has yet to run it's course, so I won't know till later.

But I was getting some hip pain on gybe rig flip, as I don'y usually feel a thing when Mr Voltaren is in control, I reluctantly gave up on them, the conditions were great for alphas, enough of a powered up run across the wind in the smooth and a gybe just before the small ruffles began.

So did speed runs instead, initially a little underpwored, but then wind picked up nicely and I was getting 34s. I was very tempted to change to the 48cm board, but decided that wasn't wise, until I find out how my back responds tomorrow.

Looks like my alpha was a tad narrow, didn't take a good enough look at where I was coming from.

jp slalom 71 & Pepe Delta weed 22cm, JP Speed 54 & Tribal delta weed 18cm NP RSR E7 7.0m.

Fun Session at Point Grey, Started out on the bigger board wghich was starting to rail up a bit (awesonme fin there Pepe being able to do that whilst bearing off) so decided to change to the 54.

Went back and changed over sailed back to find the wind had backed off had a couple of trys but decided it would be easier walking from Liptons that Point Grey.

  Went out for a sail at Fangys Peel. Was nice and wet but fun and warm in the sun.         

The old custom 48 board went well after some mods to lessen the negative rokker, had the Ka kon5.8 sail, El55/18weed and a springy...

Fangyland with a bit of a mob. Shane from Albantartica, Joe and all his relations, Iain, Rod, Ken, Nu-fin, Cody and a few others. I wanted to try out the Missy Flow and the new to me, Koncept + FF22.  I was underdone in every respect for most of the session, but when I was powered up it was a fab balanced combo to sail.

Of course the big news is Stretch and Morts almost simultaneously sending out the alert there is a replacement Party Barge on Gumtree. Yeeehaa.Top Ten Fangy Day before I even got out of the house... I had bought it within minutes and pick it up on Monday. Can't wait
