Lyttelton Harbour, NE swinging widly.  JP xcite, Severne NCX 6m, JP 35 Carve fin.  Huge gursts which I could barely hold onto, well I couldn't at all, then eekkk, stop.  Made one run, quite battered from the experience, gave it up.

Great to get out again on the water. Had to use my old 2010 Hotsails 6.6 as my Koncept batten is stilll getting fixed (in my garage).  Its a robust sail but feels like I'm always sailing upwind with it and gave the impression my IS87 was too small!  It does soaks up the gusts really well though. In the end I have a new appreciation on how easy my KA Koncepts are to use. 

Had fun chasing Windsurf Nelson around today.
